Great news for mothers! Sounds like West Virginia is planning to provide full support to all mothers and children in their state. In their newest anti-abortion bill the state is resolving that mothers are “rightful recipients of society’s care”. The resolutions in their bill are very clearly stated, and no where in the bill does it limit that support to only the time before the woman gives birth.
I think every mother in West Virginia should contact their governor the minute this bill is signed into law and demand the livable income, housing, healthcare, education, etc. support that they are now legally entitled to.
Perhaps we should start a go-fund-me page to help mothers in other states to move to West Virginia so they can have better lives funded by the state for their families.
